10.“Colors of the Wind”

「ポカホンタス」という、アメリカ先住民とイギリスの開拓者のお話の中の歌です。
この曲をカバーしたら奇麗だろうな、と思って選曲しました。
製作中、このピアノアレンジを聴いた時は感動しました。
自然と共存する内容の歌詞も素敵で、

“How high will the sycamore grow? If you cut it down, then you’ll never know”
この木はどこまで高く育つだろう? 切り倒してしまえば分からない

“ You can own the earth and still,
all you’ll own is earth until you can paint with all the colors of the wind”
あなたはこの地を所有する事ができるけれど
風の色で絵を描けないかぎり、所有するものは土地だけ

少し悲しくて印象深い言葉がたくさんあります。
あまり目立つ曲ではないけど、美しい曲です。


This is a song from a movie “Pocahontas”, a story about a native american woman and English settlers.
I selected this song because I thought it would be beautiful,
and I was impressed when I heard the piano arrangements.
The song also has beautiful lyrics.
It’s kind of a quiet song, but I like it very much.

9.”Rainbow Connection”

少し切なくて奇麗なメロディーも、歌詞も、とても好きで
「いつか歌いたい」と思っていた曲です。
大切な曲なので、
今の私が歌える最高の歌を歌いたい、と思いました。
アコースティックギターの音が心地良いです。

“Someday we’ll find it
The rainbow connection
The lovers, the dreamers and me”
いつか見つけるよ
恋人たちと　夢追い人と　私の　虹のつながりを


I’ve always loved this song and wanted to sing it someday.
Since the song means so much to me, I wanted to sing it perfectly.
I especially like the sound of the acoustic guitar.

4.“Under the Sea”

子供の頃から、ディズニー映画の曲の中でも特に好きだった曲で、数えきれないほど聴きました。
何度も聴いたこの曲を歌ってリリースできて、とても嬉しいです。
イントロが、水中から見上げた空のキラキラみたいで気に入っています☆

This song has been one of my favorite Disney songs ever since I was a child.
I’m very happy to sing and release the song that I listened to so many times.
I like the introduction because it reminds me of the sparkling sky seen from under water.

3.”ミッキーマウスマーチ”

この曲は、ディズニー楽曲中心のアルバム制作が決まった時、真っ先に収録が決まりました。
私にとってはパレードみたいにワクワクする曲で、歌うのも、
聴いてもらうのも、本当に楽しみだった曲の一つです。
本日先行リリースされたので、聴いてみてください☆

This is the first song we decided to record in this album.
Every time I listen to this song it makes me feel excited and happy, like a parade.
I enjoyed singing, and was really looking forward to releasing this song.
Like my last CD “Celebration~Ghibli songs and more~”,”Princess celebration” is going to be available worldwide on iTunes!

2.”Let It Go”

「アナと雪の女王(”Frozen”)」を映画館で観た時に、歌がとても良いなと思っていました。
Celebrationシリーズのサウンドの特徴の一つにコーラスワークがあるのですが、
”Let It Go”は私にとってあまり歌う機会のないとてもドラマチックな曲なので、
本当にたくさんのコーラスを歌っています。
アレンジを含めこのアルバムの中で一番作り込んだ曲だと思います。

“Let it go, let it go
And I’ll rise like the break of dawn”
手放そう
そして私は夜明けのように昇る

最後のサビの歌い出しが、勇気が湧くとてもいい歌詞だと思いました。
